Rich is the Co-Founder of Santangelo & Rodriguez, P.C., working primarily from the firm’s New York location and concentrating in Insurance Coverage, Subrogation, and Business Law.
Mr. Rodriguez has been a Super Lawyer rated insurance attorney since 2012.
Mr. Rodriguez began his career analyzing the potential liability in extensive and complex insurance matters as an attorney at a AmLaw top 100 Manhattan law firm. Rich continues to defend insureds under commercial general liability policies for various Specialty Claims. He and his team routinely handle various complex general liability matters, including: dram shop, construction liability, trucking and transportation liability, environmental liability, professional liability, bad faith, extra-contractual liability, and premises liability matters.
Mr. Rodriguez represents insurance carriers and surplus lines carriers in actions involving all forms of coverage throughout the United States. He also defends and protects the rights of insurance companies and their insureds, at the insurers’ direction, as well as municipalities and corporations throughout various states.
Mr. Rodriguez received his Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, from Touro Law, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, where he served as Articles Editor for the International Law Review. Rich also served as a past Co-Chair of the Nassau County Bar Association’s Young Lawyer’s Committee.
Mr. Rodriguez is admitted to practice law in the State of New York. He is also admitted to practice law in the United States District Court for the Southern and Western Districts of New York.
